Posted Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 1:35 PM  It was announced recently that f(x)s Krystal would be joining the cast of the ongoing MBC sitcom called More Charming By The Day. She plays a high school student named Krystal Jung Soo Jung which is her real name. Often, sitcoms make the actors use their real names. Her character is quirky and lies quite a lot. She expressed her feelings on moving on to acting, Im happy and nervous to be trying acting out through this opportunity. Im thankful of all the mentors and sunbaes that are teaching me things and taking care of me on set. She continued, I will work hard to show more sides of myself as an actress through the learning process in this sitcom. Krystal recently ventured on her first solo project by costarring with fellow singer Tei as lovers in Alex’s music drama Melody (Moderato). However, it’s since been revealed that Krystal was not the first pick for this project. SNSD’s YoonA was originally assigned the role of the main heroine, but she ended up having to back out due to scheduling conflicts. 16-year-old Krystal was casted in the second round of casting due to her similarity to YoonA and the high school student vibe that she gave off. Though she obtained this position fair and square, Krystal still felt the need to apologize to YoonA for essentially “taking” her role. The Drama included some shining actors and actress like Kim Seong Soo, Im Ha Ryeong. The PD of the drama states that Krystal will be having the first shoot on this upcoming 24th July. This is Krystal's first experience in this acting industry but she had try her very first act in Shinee's Julliete Music Video .
